Annual Feast of Infant Jesus at Maddikera Parish:

January 14th, 2018 is a great memorable day for Maddikera Parish. The day’s celebration started with the exposition of Blessed Sacrament. The devotees reached from near and far places. The faithful expressed their faith to Infant Jesus through the Holy Rosary. The Holy Mass began at 12 pm. The main Celebrant was Rev. Fr. Gallela Vijay Kumar the Parish Priest of Maddikera, and co-celebrants were Fr. Adusupalli vijay Bhaskar (USA), Fr. Pappula Sudhakar (Diyyavani TV Rayalaseema Coordinator ), Fr. Minumula Balaraju (Apostolic Holy Family Seminary Rector), Fr. Pulugujju vijay Kumar (Mill Hills Seminary Rector ), Fr. Prakash Reddy (Dean of Adoni), Fr.Anthony Raju (Dean of Anantapur ), and along with the other priests of diocese. Religious sisters from Pathikonda CMC, MC sisters, CTC sisters, Chamberi Sisters from Guntakal, Fatima Sisters, Satya Seva Catechist Sisters. New Infant Jesus statue was donated to the church by Thomas S/o Gaddala Shanthappa (late) family. The day’s Celebration had another memorable event that is the 10 years of the fathers. They were felicitated with dances by satyaseva Infant Jesus EM school Maddikera. The choir for the festive Mass was led beautifully by KURNOOL VANI - FEBRUARY 2018 11 the choir from Maddikera parish and musician Mr. Jagadeesh from Tadipatri. The festive meals were sponsored by Mutyala Suresh & Sheetal Family. Infant Jesus Grotto and surroundings were painted and white wash for compound walls by Chakali. Balachandra family. In the evening there was procession of Infant Jesus in Maddikera village streets led by the Chakri and the parishioners with devotion and prayers. Concluded with blessings and removing the flag of Infant Jesus. Finally Fr Gallela Vijaykumar thanked almighty God, and Most Rev. Poola Anthony and all the priests, religious fathers, sisters, faithful, parishioners and all those who have contributed and for their service for the success of this feast.- (Fr.
