Kurnool Town Celebrates 106th Birth Day of Mother Theresa:

On 27-08-2016 a rally was taken from their respective schools by the students of St. Mary's and St. 14 KURNOOL VANI - SEPTEMBER 2016 Joseph's and also from the nearby schools to the Statue of Mother Theresa at Prakash Nagar where Rajya Sabha M.P. Mr.T.G.Venkatesh and Kurnool Town commissioner Mr. Ravindra Babu,and other dignitaries of the town garlanded the statue of Mother Theresa and praised her for the service to the poor of India and to the humanity. Thereafter the function was held at Corporation office where many dignitaries spoke of the selfless service of Mother Theresa to the mankind. For all the teachers and the students who participated in the rally snacks was provided. At the end of the meeting, town commissioner Mr. Ravindra Babu gave a flower bouquet to Fr.Chowrappa in the name of Mother Theresa and the Christian community.- (Fr.A.Chowrappa, Parish Priest )
