Most Rev. Dr. Bishop Poola Anthony gave Bishop Rajappa scholarships to students studying post-graduation, Medicine, and other students. 339 students from 47 parishes received Rs. 14, 60,000 as Bishop Rajappa Scholarship on January 9th from DESK at KDSSS! This is in addition to Rs. 24, 38,500 in October 2015 by 486 girls and 643 boys, a total of 1129 intermediate and degree students, from 50 parishes! Pedda Kottala received the highest amount, Rs.106000 followed by Uppaladadiya Rs.73000 and Jupad Rs.70500. 14 parishes received above Rs.40000. The toppers list from 4th to 14th goes as Banaganapalle Rs.65000, Cathedral Rs.58500, Bandi Atmakur Rs. 58000, P Yaleru Rs.56500, Velugodu Rs. 56000, Kosigi Rs.53000, Yerraguntla Rs.51000, C N Kotta Rs.50500, Owk Rs.47500, Atmakur Rs. 46500 and Yemmiganur Rs.44000.
