St. Anthony of Padua, a people's saint is a patron saint of lost and stolen things and he was a powerful Franciscan preacher and teacher, whose feast we celebrated on 12th and 13th of June 2016 in our St. Anthony's shrine, Chapirevula with the Blessings and Best wishes of His Excellency Most Rev. Poola Anthony, KURNOOL VANI - JULY 2016 11 Bishop of Kurnool. On 12th we had a prayer service conducted by Rev. Fr. Kamal Kumar Gopu, Parish Priest of Narmetta from Warangal diocese, followed by the candle procession and Holy Mass. At night there was a famous Bible Drama on "Dhanavanthudu - Beedha Lazaru" by Francis Natya Mandali, Nuzividu. On 13th we had a Festal Mass concelebrated by our Capuchin Jubilarians Rev. Frs. Inna Reddy Vatti, Dominic Madanu, and Rev.Fr. Marreddy, the Dean of Nandyal Deanery, Rev Fr. Melchior,Our Provincial Councilor and various Priests from the Deanery. After the Holy Eucharist we felicitated the Jubilarians. We concluded the celebrations with the procession of a miraculous statue of St. Anthony in the Village Streets of Chapirevula. - (Rev Fr.
