With the approach of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercyfrom 8th.Dec.2015 to 20th.Nov.2016, declared by Pope. Francis, Most Rev. Poola. Antony, the Bishop of Kurnool has celebrated the Opening ceremony of the Jubilee year on 13th.Dec.2015 by opening the door of Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral as a sign of the deep desire for true conversion as said by Pope. Bishop has blessed the door of Cathedral by praying and KURNOOL VANI - JANUARY 2016 11 opened the door announcing that the door of mercy is opened inviting all the faithful to make a brief pilgrimage to the Holy Door, to obtain the graces of God specially to experience the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Bishop has Con-celebrated the Holy Eucharist with a reflection on mercy. In his message he said that the Jubilee Indulgence may reach each one as a genuine experience of God's mercy, which comes to meet each person in the Face of the Father who welcomes and forgives.
