Pastoral Visit to Gajjehalli, Adoni Parish:

Bishop Most Rev. Poola Anthony came to Adoni Parish for Pastoral visit. His Excellency Rt. Rev. Anthony Poola visited Gajjehalli village and offered Holy Mass. In the Holy Mass the bishop administered the Sacraments of First Holy Communion for 13 children and Confirmation for 54 faithful who were taught Catechism, prayers and Christian Faith for ten days and Triduum. On this Joyful Occasion good number of faithful participated in the Holy Mass. After the Holy Mass Catechists and Elders 10 KURNOOL VANI - JULY 2016 felicitated Bishop and the Dean of Adoni Rev. Fr. Prakash Reddy with garlands and shawls. Finally Bishop appreciated faithful, catechists, SJT Sisters and Parish Priest for preparing the faithful to receive the Sacraments. The next day morning bishop also planted two coconut plants in the church compound because the same day is the government programme. - (Fr. Elias Martis, Parish Priest)
